The Local 66 Welfare Fund provides quality medical care for members and their dependents using various insurers or services. Employers make monthly contribution payments within the terms of their Collective Bargaining Agreement. As contributions are received they are entered and recorded to calculate eligibility on a quarterly basis. The Local 66 Pension Fund provides retirement benefits for vested members of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 66. Contributions are paid entirely by the participating employers in the form of a cents-per-hour contribution as set forth in the collective bargaining agreements. These contributions are paid into a trust established for the exclusive benefit of participants in the plan. The Local 66 Annuity and Savings Fund encourages and assists participants by providing additional financial security at retirement. Contributions are paid entirely by the participating employers as per their Collective Bargaining Agreement. The Annuity Fund was designed to provide participants with a savings program on a long term basis. The Local 66 Benefit Fund pays eligible members monthly extended unemployment benefits during periods of unemployment, due to a lack of work, accident, or sickness. Contributions are paid by the participating employers as per their Collective Bargaining Agreement.
